MRSM Tun Ghafar Baba dan Sekolah Menengah Sains Kuala Selangor (KUSESS)

Standard

Berjaya jangan sampai kau berbangga.
Gagal jangan sampai kau kecewa!
Carilah keredhaan Allah, bukan penghargaan manusia.

MATTA Fair 2013

Standard

Tarikh 15, 16 & 17 March dah terlekat lama dalam fikiran. Tidak kira hujan ribut mesti jenguk juga. Tapi kuasa Allah mengatasi segala. Saya lupa. Benar-benar lupa. FIkiran saya dikosongkan sebentar berkaitan Matta Fair ini. Pagi tadi ketika membaca suratkhabar di meja penyambut tetamu baru saya terperasan yg saya dah terlepas sesuatu yg berbulan lamanya saya tunggu. Arrgghh….mungkinkah ada sebab mengapa saya ‘dihilangkan ingatan’ sementara’? Errmm……susur galur perancangan hanya Allah yg tahu kan.

Kolagen Asli

Standard

Heboh dah….ramai yg dah cuba ibu kolagen. Tak teringin pun sebelum ni tapi bila tengok muka mak dah ada perubahan hati terus mcm ditarik2 untuk mencuba. Buka peti sejuk mak ..amboi bersusun kolagen siap masak. mak bagi dua bekas bawa balik. Yeeayy..Sampai rumah cuba suapkan ke mulut….eerrmm..rasa hanyir skit. Sudahnya saya makan dgn madu…sedap. Sekali-sekala saya hancurkan dalam air sirap buatan sendiri……memang lazat sampai bujang shahir pun selalu curi minum air yg saya buat.

Sedikit info mengenai ibi kolagen yg saya sempat google…

Baru kejap tadi kanda menegur…

Kanda: dah elok muka. Jerawat pun dh nk hilang.

Saya: collagen la….

Kanda: call agent. Nk buat apa call agent?

Layers of Darkness by Reehab Ramadan (sharing)

Standard

A second grade class sat in front of their little cups of dirt, thinking about what was going on underneath the soil. Only a few days prior they had placed a seed deep underneath, hoping that it would one day sprout. They were only in the second grade so they couldn’t really understand the concept that they had to put it underneath the soil. They didn’t see the point of why the seed had to work so hard to push its sprout all the way to the top of the soil. Why couldn’t we just make things easier for the poor seed and keep it on top of the surface in the sunlight? Why couldn’t we just help it by opening it up and pulling the sprout out of the seed ourselves? Why did the seed have to take time and effort to become what it needed to be? But the seed knew. The seed knew that in order to grow, it needed to be buried under the dirt, smothered in darkness and it had to work hard to reach the light. And so it did.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/malia111/4482794917/in/photostream/

This simple example of the perspective of second graders on the sprouting of a seed and growing of a plant retells itself time and time again throughout our lives, but on a different level. As adults, we may smile at the innocence of these children, knowing that one day they will realize that there are certain processes that may seem hard and useless but are actually essential, just like in this plant. But often times we fail to take that same example and place it in our lives. There are times in life we need to grow, need to become better and stronger people. It is during those times that we find ourselves smothered in darkness, feeling hurt and disconnected. We may feel like we are covered in layers upon layers of dirt, not knowing how to take a breath, and we just want to reach the surface and break through to the light. But we know that in order to do that, we are going to work really hard, and at times it may hurt beyond belief. It is at these times that we often get frustrated and confused with what Allah is putting us through. We may begin to question why Allah would even allow this to happen or why He isn’t helping us in the way that we are asking. And no matter how hard we think, we just cannot see the wisdom in being locked in layers of darkness, struggling to reach the top. It is at this moment that we need to stop, take a step back and learn from nature. Stop and imagine what would happen to the seed if it simply stopped trying because it was too tired to push through and struggle to the top. Imagine what would happen to a butterfly if, after being wrapped in its cocoon for so long, it decided to stop pushing its way out and spread its wings. Imagine what would happen to a baby chick if it stopped pecking its way through the egg to make it to the world where chicks become chickens.

Things may seem to be tougher than necessary, for longer than necessary, in places where we don’t want them to be. But know, nothing is without reason and nothing is without cause. Allah sent us examples in His creation to constantly give us motivational boosts to get us throughout our days. Open your eyes to the signs of Allah and embrace your inspiration to move forward.

As Richard Carlson says, “If you watch how nature deals with adversity, continually renewing itself, you can’t help but learn.”

Makan malam

Standard

Hari ni menghantar Sabrina balik KUSESS kemudian ke Putrajaya ambil Shahir yg selesai training badminton jam 8:00 malam.

Mak menelefon….mengingatkan jangan makan d luar.

Sampai rumah mak dah hampir jam 9:00. Buka tudung saji…..amboi..macam2 lauk ada. Ni mesti lepas jamu pengantin yg tak baru sangat aka adik bongsu dan isteri yg tidur bermalam di rumah mak semalam.

Ada ikan jenahak goreng cili, sayur goreng, tempe goreng tepung, daging batang pinang masak kicap, sambal belacan dan petai muda. Peerghhh….kecur liur dibuatnya. Kanda pesan mahu makan dua senduk je..konon. Kanda unjuk pinggan minta tambah….ha….bersenduk2 jugalah akhirnya.

Selesai…kanda cakap pada mak..

“Mak..makan malam dah macam makan tengahari ni. Tu yg saya selalu tak singgah rumah mak bila balik kerja. Mak jangan kecik hati….sebab kalau saya datang macam inilah…susah nak berhenti makan”.

Mak senyum. Abah senyum. Saya angguk…setuju.

Terima kasih Mak..Abah…!!

Jerawat

Standard

Facial utk saya saja ambil masa hampir 2 jam. Habis jerawat saya dikerjakan. Sampai meleleh jugalah air mata menahan sakit. Jerawat yg pedih bila saya sentuh pun habis dipicit sampai keluar isi dalamnya.

Kita lihat hasilnya nanti. Mampukah meng’clearkan’ kulit muka saya yg sudah mula comot? Xpe….be positif dan teruskan usaha. Minum air putih banyak2 n live a healthy life..!!

Crack the code!1 and 2: Digestive System — Eat less processed or junk food, reduce the amount of fat in your diet, step up water intake and opt for cooling things like cucumbers.3: Liver — Cut out the alcohol, greasy food and dairy. This is the zone where food allergies also show up first, so take a look at your ingredients. Besides all this, do 30 minutes of light exercise every day and get adequate sleep so your liver can rest.4 and 5: Kidneys — Anything around the eyes (including dark circles) point to dehydration. Drink up!6: Heart — Check your blood pressure and Vitamin B levels. Decrease the intake of spicy or pungent food, cut down on meat and get more fresh air. Besides this, look into ways to lower cholesterol, like replacing “bad fats” with “good fats” such as Omegas 3 and 6 found in nuts, avocados, fish and flax seed. Also, since this area is chock-full of dilated pores, check that your makeup is not past its expiry date or is skin-clogging.7 and 8: Kidneys — Again, drink up! And cut down on aerated drinks, coffee and alcohol as these will cause further dehydration.9 and 10: Respiratory system — Do you smoke? Have allergies? This is your problem area for both. If neither of these is the issue, don’t let your body overheat, eat more cooling foods, cut down on sugar and get more fresh air. Also keep the body more alkaline by avoiding foods that make the body acidic (meat, dairy, alcohol, caffeine, sugar) and adding more alkalizing foods like green veggies and wheatgrass juice. Another thing that most of forget – dirty cell phones and pillow cases are two of the top acne culprits and this area is what they affect the most!11 and 12: Hormones — This is the signature zone for stress and hormonal changes. And while both are sometimes unavoidable, you can decrease their effect by getting adequate sleep, drinking enough water, eating leafy veggies and keeping skin scrupulously clean. Another interesting point: breakouts in this area indicate when you are ovulating (and on which side).13: Stomach — Step up the fibre intake, reduce the toxin overload and drink herbal teas to help with digestion.14: Illness — Zits here can be a sign that your body is fighting bacteria to avoid illness. Kedai Kak Ton

Standard

Tadi sewaktu drive ke Putrajaya tetiba Qaseh bersuara.

Ibu…ibu nak kuruskan? Ibu pegilah kedai Kak Ton. Mesti nanti ibu boleh kurus.

Kedai Kak Ton? Kak Ton Mana? Sambil jengah izzah di bangku belakang saya tanya lagi….kedai Kak Ton mana Izzah?

Izzah angkat bahu dua kali sambil sambut…“entah…”

Saya pandang Qaseh. Kak ton mana Qaseh?

Alaaa….Kak Ton yg dalam tv tu. Yg dia kata..”tengok kak ton…comey taaaak?”

Ooohhh…..sambut saya dan izzah. Iklan produk kecantikan Beauty Umaira rupanya. Ingatkan kedai Kak Ton mana.
